What is Vedic Rounding?
This is not just another yoga class. This is Vedic technology and a sequence of profound wisdom that has been strung together to dissolve stress and fatigue that is deep in the body.
Vedic Rounding is a "round" or cycle of relaxing and gentle asana, followed by slow breath work, 20 minutes Vedic Meditation, and 10 minutes of savasana. That equals one round. During this half day event, we will take the time to break down the sequence and the second half of the event, we will round 2 times in a row.
Rounding is a carefully crafted ancient Vedic practice designed to take your meditation to the next level. This practice has the potential to dissolve deep, deep stress and create incredible levels of clarity.
It creates deep rest for the whole system so you can release decades of fatigue stored in the body.
Rounding is sometimes referred to as: industrial strength meditation.
The schedule (loose itinerary):
9:30-11am: learning the asana sequence for a Vedic Round. We will break it down with detail. This is a very gentle asana practice.
11a-12pm: break to take a walk outside + a warm pot of soup and kitchari will be provided
12pm-12:45: Questions and additional knowledge while our bellies digest.
12:45pm-2:00pm: first Vedic round practiced together
2:00p-3:15p: second Vedic round practiced together
3:15-3:30p: shares and questions + when to do this at home
*You will leave feeling extremely relaxed, clear and refreshed. It is recommended to have someone pick you up, car pool with each other, or drive very slowly home. It is normal to feel "high", content and very satisfied after Vedic rounding.
** Please plan for a relaxing and/or quiet evening afterwards, if possible.
